Wright House Campus Expanding in Mequon

MEQUON – A second phase of the Wright House senior living campus on Mequon Road is now under construction with a target opening date of June.

The residential care apartment complex will offer what Pam Lidington, director of marketing for Wright House, calls an “independent-plus” environment. The residents, who will be living in the 60 apartments now being built, will automatically receive one meal a day and a monthly wellness check.

The apartments will range in size from studios to units with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It will be pet-friendly and feature underground parking, a game room and many other amenities to provide an attractive and inviting living environment, Lidington said.

The building is being designed to incorporate the feel of the architecture of its namesake, Frank Lloyd Wright. Design influences include a dynamic central fireplace combined with a wrought-iron staircase, built-in seating, stained-glass windows and warm, rich woodwork, according to promotional materials.
