Frank Lloyd Wright anniversary

Just in time for the 150th anniversary of Frank Lloyd Wright’s birth, we will begin construction on Wright House Senior Living next week. The new building will have 60 assisted living apartments and is located next door to Wright House Memory Care on West Mequon Road.

Long-time fans of the architect, past Wright designs influenced the various elements of our building Design. A dynamic central fireplace combined with a beautiful wrought iron staircase, cozy built-in seating, stained glass windows, and warm rich woodwork are just some of the pieces that will greet you when you walk through the front doors.

Wright House Senior Living will bring Wright’s love of nature indoors by using rich greens, blues, and golds in our color scheme. This complements the nearby Mequon bluffs and Lake Michigan. The open floor plan with lots of horizontal lines, and a wide use of natural materials will connect our building to the many historic buildings Wright designed.
